Very rarely do you get a "bad server." One who is poorly trained, yes, the kitchen overwhelmed, yes. And if they are just plain old "bad" why did they get hired?
Try to give the benefit of doubt when judging your waiter; cat run over on the way to work, swine flu, the manager won't let you take a sick day, the possibilities are endless.
If you need to lash-out due to a bad restaurant experience, why not talk to the manager who can really do something? 15-20% before tax - always!ebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16782012607589382695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7240704847620786146.post-46203430681192508222009-05-24T02:12:10.882-04:002009-05-24T02:12:10.882-04:00You've said so much so well. Jesus you know what...in the amont of time it takes you to figure it out to the penny or pull out your "tipulator" on your iphone or whatever...just leave the damn tip. Unless someone is an absolute @#$@ as a waiter (which is really hard to do) I leave 20% on the total. Quite simply, the math is easy that way and they deserve it...because most are working their way towards something else and deserve to be paid accordingly!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
