Asheville's Blue Ridge RollerGirls party 12-13-08

Stopped by the party tonight at the Dragon Lady Salon at 50 McCormick Place in Downtown Asheville. It is right near the Asheville Tourists baseball field. Very nice, cool, classy setting, guests, and Roller Girls. Great atmosphere with a guest list and the security manager at the door. This was the end of season party and they are going to come into 2009 better than ever. It is a New Year and our confidences will be reassured, our Country will revive, and our whole mindsets and attitudes will reshape for the better. Asheville already has a great vibe, and teams & businesses like these networking together, add to the community reaching for a common positive goal.

Blue Ridge Rollergirls End Of Season Shabang

The one thing rollergirls do better than rollerskate is party down! The Dragon Lady Salon is hosting us (brave...very brave) for a celebration of our 2008 season where we will enjoy beer from French Broad Brewery, food from Short Street Cakes, and performances by belly dancers, hula hoopers, and Unifire. The party is Saturday, December 13th from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. at the Dragon Lady Salon. There is a $7 suggested donation at the door which includes food and beer. If you bring a toy in its original package to donate to the YWCA Motherlove program, you get in free. Think you have what it takes to get down with the rollergirls? Bring it on.
