Tuesday 1:45pm - 2 vehicle accident in South Asheville delays traffic for an hour. Rice Towing of Asheville was called to remove the vehicles.

Asheville Police respond to small fender bender

The rain has been coming for the past week, and many accidents have been reported in Asheville. Here is a small accident that happened under I-240 where Merrimon Avenue and Broadway Avenue connect in downtown Asheville.

Asheville Accident on I-240, traffic dead still

This is the scene of the accident on Tuesday under the Westgate overpass going onto I-240 West. This is right in front of Jackson's Trading Post and Sam's Club on Patton Avenue in West Asheville. These workers were halting traffic. This is a weird switch up of traffic at this point and will be a major area of concern as the Asheville area growth continues.
