Salvation Army at the Asheville Mall

This lady was wondering "why is this guy filming me?" and then we talked, got some clips, etc. The Salvation Army is everywhere, and I have met a lot of great people donating their time to collect funds to help during the Season. Thank you to all of the volunteers working Asheville and Western North Carolina... and all around the World of course. www.salvationarmyusa.org

Asheville Mall, Tour of the Stores

We went shopping tonight and took some footage as I walked around. The Asheville Mall grows and grows, and is set up pretty nice. (They need to plan on a second story in the future). Many shoppers out, but still found parking pretty easy. Everything was flowing normally tonight, and we have about 8 more days till Christmas day. This was shot at about 5pm so the shopping mania was just about to begin. This was the little calm before the storm. See more Asheville Videos on AskAsheville's Video Channel.

Sale at Asheville's Biltmore Square Mall

Quick pic of a "street signer" they have standing near the Biltmore Square Mall in South/West Asheville (in between, so I hear people calling it both ways). Stores are suffering here. This mall has been lagging behind the Asheville Mall as far as business and clientel, but vendors hope that the area growth moving in will soon level things out here.

Plenty of great restaurants surround this point including Garfields and the Stone Ridge Tavern. This point is about 4 miles away from Biltmore Park (South AVL) and about 5 miles from the Candler area of West Asheville Buncombe.

New Asheville Mall entrance

Love the "new look" at the Asheville Mall, even though I don't shop there much, lol.
