The 2011 Wheel Ride for Food will be this Saturday at Carrier Park. Mark your calendars and make plans to ride in our half-metric, metric Century, and 100-mile Century Ride. Pedal your bicycle along Asheville’s sprouting greenways systems. Along the way, fill your cup, frolic with friends and celebrate the liberty of cycle power. Gather at Carrier Park’s parking lot closest to the Velodrome at 2pmFrom there, we’ll pedal the greenway and circuitously roll about town. The ride culminates at the Wedge’s tasting room around 6:30. After the ride enjoy corn beef hash, good company and tales aplenty.
