Park Ridge Health-Event Summary for 6/20-6/26-Free Health Screenings with the Park Ridge WOW Van: Bone Density Screenings-For osteoporosis. Please wear shoes and socks that are easy to slip off. Thursday, June 23, First Congregational Church, 1735 Fifth Avenue W, Hendersonville. 1pm-4pm
Body Composition and Glucose Screening. Body fat and hydration percentages, body mass index, height and weight for overall body composition. Blood and glucose testing for diabetes. Fasting preferred, but not required. Monday, June 20, Hendersonville Food Co-op, 715 S. Grove Street, Hendersonville. 9am-12pm.

Eager to learn but juggling a frantic schedule? Our one-day childbirth class offers an interactive format that involves both mom and dad. We'll start with ailments that can crop up during pregnancy. We'll then onto what happens when you're in labor - including how to recognize when it starts - as well as delivery options ranging from low-intervention, to natural, to traditional childbirth. Finally, moms and dads will learn how to take care of their new bundles of joy.
