Do not live at the Grove! The management sucks and neighbors are loud. Never sign a lease with these people-they will cheat you out of money.
I do not recommend the grove!
The management is horrible, the upkeep of the grounds is horrible, the employees are horrible, and the overall experience-horrible. For pets this is a horrible environment, the grounds are covered in class, and there is no safe place for them to run at the grove.For parents concerned about their childern safety, they should be aware they constantly allow maintenance in and out of rooms, who often leave the doors unlocked, and their way of notifying you of changes is papers taped to your doors. Unless you plan on joing the fraternity of employees, and throwing away money THIS IS NOT WORTH IT! Don't take the groves word for it, look up reviews before you make a decision to give the place your money.
Rather than just rent a room, and share a common area you can have your own 1 bedroom apartment for the same money. www.apartmentnearasheville.com
Ya,I used to live here and fuck the Grove at Asheville....everything you have already read is correct. The management is absolutely terrible, and they usually take FOREVER to do anything but process your rent payment, which they don't accept in cash. They do a fucking HORRIBLE job at roommate matching so i hope if you lease, you move in with friends. The maintenance people are total creepers, and the college kids they employ are usually too stupid to help with anything or they are shitfaced at work...One time, I actually had a maintenance man ask to use a credit card of mine so he could card his way in to a girls room, I denied his ass so fast it made his head spin. Cops CONSTANTLY patrol the area, so if you are the least bit loud, trust that you will get a knock on your door. There have been s.w.a.t. team raids there, and yes, i said S.W.A.T. TEAM!!! Some dumbass girl had a gun and was on parole out of FLA slinging god knows how much cocaine... If you like what you have read here, then by all means, live at the Grove!! But i strongly ward against it...
