April 23 - Asheville Social Media School

The free social media school in Asheville North Carolina has been in effect for 2 months now. We had the 1st class at the Downtown Market in February and it was an overview of social networking and new media. The 2nd class was at the Garage at Biltmore and it was on Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare. A lot of local Asheville businesses, marketers, and some who were "just wondering" attended these classes and networked with the crowd.

On April 23rd, the social media school will be happening at Elaine's Piano at the Grove Park Inn from 5 - 7:30 pm and we will be teaching about video marketing (YouTube, Vimeo, etc) and what it means for your business exposure. Having an active video presence is a necessary part of your advertising efforts if you want to keep up with or stay ahead of the competition. If you do not use videos, you could be losing up to 25% of your potential reach.
