National Ride of Silence - Asheville Location. Join cyclists worldwide in a silent slow-paced ride (max. 12 mph) in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. The Asheville ride will begin at 7:00pm at the Asheville Chamber of Commerce. The relatively flat, 5 mile route travels through downtown, toward UNCA, and through Montford to return to the Chamber of Commerce.
