The Evolution of Green Man Brewery in Asheville

In culture, the Green Man is typically a sculpture or a drawing of a face surrounding by leaves that is seen on churches or public houses throughout Europe. It is usually interpreted as a symbol of rebirth, or renaissance, representing the cycle of growth each spring.

GREEN MAN BREWERY (ASHEVILLE) WINS SILVER ADDY
Green Man asked Big Bridge to give a rebirth to its logo and branding last Fall. For the project, Big Bridge modified the original logo by clearly defining the Green Man, introduced the Fall version with leaves changing color and developed a modification of the Green Man for small batch brews. We also designed associated identity visuals that are being implemented throughout the brewery including growlers, signage, gift cards and t-shirts. The gift card design recently won a Silver ADDY with the American Advertising Federation Asheville (AAFA).
