No appointment required. PSA blood test for men 50 years of age or older; age 40 if father or brother had prostate cancer. Cost $10.

Bone density screening for osteoporosis. Please wear shoes and socks that are easy to slip off.
FREE Cholesterol Screening

8-11 a.m., 4966 Bolyston Hwy., Mills River
Lipid and glucose profiles by finger stick, along with blood pressure and body mass index screening. For best results, fast overnight.
FREE Stroke/ Aphasia Support Group
Thursday, January 20, 3 p.m.
Park Ridge Home Health, 895 Howard Gap Rd. Fletcher, NC 28732
Support Group offered to stroke survivors coping with an aphasia disorder and for other individuals diagnosed with aphasia. Caregivers, family and friends are encouraged to participate as well. Please call Brenda Oakley at 828.687.5261.
